Performance Review Process

Performance Review is part of the role and responsibility of onboard Managers and Supervisors. It is required for them to conduct and write Performance Reviews in order to provide an opportunity to set clear expectations while focusing on performance goals and looking into areas for development. This training module is developed in relation to the policies and procedures as stated in the HR Policies & Procedures in the Apollo Manuals.

Crew members must receive Performance Reviews at the following times:

  • New hires – after 30 days on board.
  • Newly promoted crew – after 30 days in their new position.
  • All crew members – prior to sign-off (regardless of the sign off reason / status)
  • Interim – during the contract as required

Every Manager and Supervisor must familiarize themselves with the Performance Review Cruise Control function. If you are new to the Management position, onboard Learning & Development Manager can assist you in learning the Performance Review functions of Cruise Control. Make sure to complete the E-Learning pertaining to this specific topic.
