This day is observed worldwide to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments of women. It’s inaugural celebration took place in 1922 to commemorate women’s contributions during the 1917 Russian Revolution. Onboard The Empress, we hosted a ladies’ night for our distinguished guests, where women were celebrated in the Connexions lounge with a cake-cutting ceremony, toasts, and various activities, including a photo session in the atrium. Later that evening, a special gala dinner was organized for our female team members, who participated in their traditional attire. The male HOD’s served the dinner buffet and beverages, followed by games and a DJ party in the Connexions. This event was a remarkable occasion that highlighted the commitment to empowering women onboard.
