Studies indicate that an average a person touches the face 2 to 4 times per minute. It is very important to wash hands as often as possible, and even more important to do it the right way. You should wash your hands:
Before reporting on duty
When your hands are dirty
Before eating or touching food
After using the bathroom
After blowing your nose or coughing
After being in contact with a person with any infectious disease (e.g. cold, etc.)
