Hand Washing

Studies indicate that an average a person touches the face 2 to 4 times per minute. It is very important to wash hands as often as possible, and even more important to do it the right way. You should wash your hands:

  1. Before reporting on duty
  2. When your hands are dirty
  3. Before eating or touching food
  4. After using the bathroom
  5. After blowing your nose or coughing
  6. After being in contact with a person with any infectious disease (e.g. cold, etc.)
